Dhanaulti is well connected by motorable roads but it has no railway station of its own. So one can get down at Dehradun railway station (nearly 50 Kms away) and take taxi or bus from there to reach Hotel. Dehradun railway station is well connected with other major cities of India with fast and luxurious trains. Being a major tourist attraction of Northern India, it is well connected to Delhi and other major cities of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Himachal through road.

Best Time to Visit: September to June are the best months to visit Dhanaulti. Like other cooler hill stations, Dhanaulti has a good, temperate climate throughout the year. The harsher seasons are the monsoons and the winters that are easily avoidable. Summers, at a comfortable 31 degrees maximum, are a perfect time to rewind and relax your senses here, with the assurance of a never before experienced vacation. Steer clear of the heavy monsoon months of July-August, as the slopes are dangerous, and commuting by road is nearly impossible. It may hinder any outdoor activity that you had included in your itinerary.
Tracking Point: - Nag Tibba ('Serpent's Peak'), 3,022 metres (9,915 ft.), is the highest peak in the lesser Himalayan region of Uttarakhand state (Garhwal Division), and lends its name to the 'Nag Tibba Range', itself the next-northerly of the five folds of the Himalaya. It is situated 30 km away from hotel. The 'Nag Tibba Range' is amongst three principal ranges of the Lesser Himalayas, which includes the Dhauladhar, and the Pir Panjal, which branched off from the Great Himalayas.
Nature Walk: - The lush green region of Dhanaulti surrounded with dense deodar trees, is a perfect place to indulge in hiking. There are quite a few trails that take one through lush green forests, quaint hamlets and pristine rivulets.
